Although not harmful to the body, going gluten-free can be beneficial to your health in the long run. For about a year now, I have decided to go gluten-free and sugar-free. The latter being obvious, but allow me to expound on gluten-free.

Gluten in general is found in most bread, cereal, pasta and grains. You may think that eliminating these will leave you with nothing substantial to eat. Not really, as I might introduce you to a solution.
You have to understand that buying and using gluten-free flour such as the most viable one – almond flour is on the expensive side. A kilo of this type of flour is pegged at 800php. A recipe of bread loaf calls for 3 cups of flour and the most you can get in a kilo is 2- ½ loaf recipe. This will give you an idea why gluten-free bread cost a lot, not to mention sugar substitute is also pricey which adds up to the already high cost.
But there are certain ways of overriding this situation – mass production, and this is what Hearty Bread did.
