Global Sushi Chain Wasabi Warriors has bought in the technology in their flagship fast casual restaurant in Gramercy Residences, Century Mall, Makati.
Seeing all the precisely-cut sushi was already awesome but when I got to taste each one of them, awe quickly turned into divine. The minute I had my first bite, I instantly decided that it will be a cheat day from my diet.

Sushi is believed to have been introduces in the second century A.D. in Southeast Asia and contrary to what we thought, it was not Japan who first served Sushi. China served this dish first and it quickly found its way to Japan.
Due to the need to keep meat fresh without refrigeration, meat and fish would be cured and wrapped in rice to preserve its freshness. It was then left to ferment for several months. It was believed that if the meat and fish were treated this way, it could be preserved for several months longer than being cured alone. Eventually, when the need arises, they would discard the rice and eat the cured insides.
Later on, adding vinegar to the fermentation process was discovered, this way, people didn't have to wait for months for the sushi to be ready.
In Wasabi Warriors, they serve 12 types of sushi, which can be made using white, brown, red or black rice, the rice choices can then be paired with either Ocean Warrior (seafood), Beefy warrior (meat), porky warrior (pork), Chicken or vegetables Warriors. These rolls are great when paired with their signature wasabi or chili mayo.
