Sun Shorts are Sun Life’s collection of short films depicting love, hope, and commitment inspired by stories of Sun Life’s very own clients. Sun Shorts 1 was launched back in 2012 and created an astounding positive feedback from consumers and sends heartwarming inspirations to everyone. This very reason is what prompted the company to come up with another series.
Members of the media were given a preview of these short films during its launch alongside Sun Life’s celebration of Financial Independence Month this June. Sun Life’s premier endorsers Ms. Charo Santos, Judy Ann Santos, Piolo Pascual and Matteo Guidicelli were also present to formally introduce Sun Shorts 2.

Consisting of three episodes, Sun Shorts 2 is again predicted to tug the hearts of many Filipinos, getting into the core of their well-being, echoing the call to be prepared. Although, one can never be ready for life situations as these are beyond our control, we are presented with instruments to help our love ones keep up with these life situations.
The first of Sun Shorts 2 trilogy can now be watched online. “Waves” is a story directed by Zig Marasigan. It gives a peek into the lives and hearts of millennials. Highlighting the story of a carefree surf instructor Marco and Amanda the city girl who captured his heart which transcended into an enduring long-distance relationship. Watch how the waves played a significant role in their lives.
Although the waves hindered a happy ending to their love story, Marco’s financial acumen kept their dreams alive.
After watching this film, the public has now become aware that couples who are not married yet can now become each other’s beneficiary provided that both parties can provide a Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR).

Am I enough for my daughter? In the end, she will find the comfort she needs in the last place she thought of looking. Showing on June 14, 2017.
