Many individuals have been shifting to plant-based diets and they are popularly known as vegans. To those who are not familiar and gets confused between vegan and vegetarian, here are the difference: Vegans do not eat no animal products nor anything that comes from animals whereas Vegetarians do not eat animals, but may eat products that come from them such as dairy and eggs.

With that settled. Let’s go into the benefits of consuming plant-based diet.
  • Builds your immune system like no other
  • It reduces the chances of getting inflammatory diseases
  • Helps you maintain an ideal weight
  • Reduces the chances of getting toxins in your system
  • Lesser chance of getting cancer

Given all the above-mentioned benefits, who wouldn’t want to shift to becoming a vegan? Easier said than done! We were all raised thinking protein is important to build a strong physique, fruits and veggies are there to supplement vitamins and nutrition which our body needs.

I recently came across a Netflix documentary entitled The Game Changers and the documentary promises a whole new level of strength if you go full vegan. Athletes who relies on protein-loading, now swears they become more productive and full of energy by going plant-based.

In fact, a growing number of celebrities have shifted to plant-based diet. The likes of Alicia Silverstone, Ariana Grande, Ellen  DeGeneres, Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth 7 Pamela Anderson to name a few are known vegans.

My take? I may not be fully sold on becoming a vegan myself but here’s one thing I know, eating fruits and veggies indisputably gives you the vitamins and nutrient your body needs. The problem is that most plant proteins can’t be easily digested since plant cells are surrounded by cell walls made of cellulose.  As a result, the majority of plant nutrients will just pass right through us, unused by our bodies. Luckily, we can now get the full potential of plant enzymes by consuming this drink?

I was recently introduced to a supplement- Legande Life Enzyme which might solve the problem of not consuming enough plant-based food. Life Enzyme comes from ancient Japanese technology and consists of 150 all-natural whole fruits and vegetables as well as medicinal fungi and herbs.

This drink can promote a healthy digestive system with its naturally fermented lactobacilli as well as proper absorption of vitamins and minerals. It also promises a slowdown on the ageing process (I still have to research on this though). Another benefit that I personally think we all need now, it builds your immune system. With the proliferation of the NcoV, having a strong resistance to outside risk factors is a plus.
