I recently came across an ice cream café that not only serve the best ice cream by far but also whip up other sweet tooth cravings and all-day breakfast to go with it. I instantly fell in love with Geláre, Philippine flagship of Perth’s most loved dessert café.
Geláre is an Italian word that means “to freeze” or “congeal”, which is the final step in the ice cream making process. What sets Geláre’s Ice cream apart is that they are airless! As in you get pure ice cream sans the air unlike Regular ice cream that contains 50%, not even the famous Gelatos that actually contains 25% air.
You can have it served on a cup or enjoy them on a waffle cone or better yet multiple flavors on a waffle cup which i learned are all freshly made in-store.
Geláre also serves an all-day breakfast menu such as Sliced Beef with Gravy. Thinly sliced sirloin that is evenly-flavored with goodness and topped with rich gravy. This is served with waffle and corn on the side.
