On my way home from Makati the other day, I chanced upon a new roadside food joint whose food offering photos caught my attention.

The view from outside looks inviting even without air-conditioning. Its interior full of greeneries can really attract you to go inside and check out their food

Looking at their menu board made me salivate and my food craving hits the target.

Sandwich is the name of the game right at that moment.

I ordered the chicken variant while my hubby ordered the beef variant that would have been enough for us but just for the sake of tasting their other menu, we decided to order Chubby Spaghetti as well.

Service was fast, I timed the duration and it only took them 10mins to prepare our meal considering the great plating style.

I told myself, I must not be fooled just by the looks. Verdict time:

Both sandwich are loaded with Lettuce and alfalfa, (this reminded me of Yellow Cab’s dear Darla) and it comes with a generous servings of chicken and beef repectivley.

(Alfalfa is rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that play a vital role in the strength and growth of our bones and in the maintenance of a healthy body. It contains protein and vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin K. It also contains calcium, potassium, carotene, iron, and zinc. According to homeremedies.com)

The dressing has just the right amount not overpowering and it suits the other ingredients really well. And it just cost P99 each. They also have Tonkatsu and Smoked salmon variant.

On the verdict of the spaghetti: this one didn’t really hit the jackpot, although it taste good, It’s not as exemplary tasting as the sandwiches.

Next time, I might go for their other noodles which includes Palabok and Japanese Soba. All noodles at P99/order.

They also serve different types of rice such as Tinapa rice, Yakimeshi rice, Bagoong rice, Curry rice and mushroom rice which are good to be paired with their yummy looking viands which includes: Tonkatsu, Lechon Kawali, Beef Steak, Fish fillet, Salmon Teriyaki, Chicken popcorn and Sisig.

After that meal, I told myself I will be back for the other menu item.

Oh geez, yes I have gone there last month when it opened and yes I noticed the alfalfa, didn't know it has lots of health benefits. I tried the rice and viands but didn't get to taste the sandwiches though, will do so next week.

The Tonkatsu Sandwich looks delicious! Would love to try it. Btw, P99 for a sandwich? Not bad. Does it come with a drink? :)
