80s fans just got another reason to wave as Steve O’ Neal productions brings to the Philippines the Back to Back concert of China Crisis and Lotus Eaters on July 7, 2017, 8pm at Kia Theater in Araneta Center, Quezon City.
China Crisis is an English pop/rock band. They were formed in 1979 in Kirkby, near Liverpool, Merseyside with a core of vocalist/keyboardist Gary Daly and guitarist Eddie Lundon. The band popularized the hits: Wishful Thinking, King & Catholic Style, African in White, Black Man Ray to name a few.
While, Lotus Eater is an English new wave band formed in 1982 in Liverpool. Their debut single, "The First Picture of You", became a hit in the UK and in continental Europe, notably France, Italy, Belgium and Spain. Some of their other hits include: German Girl, It Hurts and Stay free.
With these two new wave bands performing back to back, new wave fans will surely have a night of their lifetime.
