As models sashayed through the catwalk during the recently held Fashion Forte at the Holiday Inn Galleria, all eyes were glued to the elegantly designed gowns that will be the talk of the town in the days to come.
One collection stood out from the rest as I watch her muse threaded gracefully..I am talking about none other than Nouvelle Haute Couture lead by famed fashion designer Ianne Martin.
Born as Marianne Martin and youngest child and only daughter of a businessman. During her early years, Marianne used to create bows and bags and sold them to her classmates and teachers. She became popular in school, not only because of her beautiful face, but more so of her scholastic and entrepreneurial abilities.
Marianne's creativity was influenced by her grandmother. As a child, she was taught to create things out of spare fabrics, ribbons, laces and beads. She continued creating and selling her crafts throughout university years where she represented the Youth Foundation and became the Ambassadress of beauty and intelligence in her university. She also pursued modelling during her teens and has continued to hug the fashion industry up to now as a designer.
