The band has received numerous award here and abroad and most of their recent performances are held outside of the country.
In their recent trip to Singapore, A collaboration was hatched and they have been inspired to come up with the song “All the good things” comprising of the experiences they encountered during their stay there.
On a personal level, I must admit that Singapore is also my top choice in Asia as a place to revisit. The clean environment and disciplined citizen are some of the elements I consider. Their food on the other hand can’t be set aside as Singapore serves some of the best Asian dishes and I am impartial with Singaporean Laksa and Cereal prawn, yum yum.
The trip took the band on visits to quirky places like Haji Lane to explore concept stores that featured unique creations by local designers and artisans, and stops at various Mod-Sin cuisine establishments like Pidgin Kitchen & Bar and 2am: dessertbar that tweaked local hawker favorites into gastronomic innovations.
Up Dharma Down capped their visit to Singapore by immersing themselves in the city’s bustling nightlife, drinking signature brews at LeVeL33 and hanging out and jamming with local musicians, The Next Movement, at The Mad Men Attic Bar.
